| Nauvoo Temple |
We spent the day in Nauvoo, IL starting at the LDS Visitor’s Center, then taking a horse and wagon ride through the Historic District, then visiting the Community of Christ Visitor’s Center, and finishing up at the Cultural Hall with a musical play called “Rendez Vous” and acted by senior missionaries. The most powerful moment for me was visiting the cemetery where Joseph, Emma, Hyrum, Joseph Smith Sr, Lucy Mack Smith and so many of our ancestors are buried after sacrificing so much for their faith.
